RECAP

• Go to ZoukOut - alright it looks like i failed to do so once again this year and apparently that's a good thing cos i heard this year's one was shit. although everybody keeps saying it keeps getting worst and worst, i feel i should at least check it out at least once!
  


• Try to reach 70kg and below (74 the last time I checked) - managed to reach 69.4kg earlier this month so i guess jogging long distances help a lot. credits to 1wo george for guiding me on running :)
  


• Get better at plucking in guitar - mmmm well i guess i'm slightly better than i was at the beginning of the year?
  


• Maybe start a band haha - joo chiat's finest. marcus and i are officially an unofficial band
  


• Shave more so beard MIGHT eventually just come out - not much progress with the beard but i think if i keep it up i'll pull it off mang X_X
  


• Be more patient with people - well, i'm still pretty much "mild" to ppl that just know me but i need to work on my temper. my anger gets the better of me sometimes so i guess i still need t work on this :(
  


• Resume aikido - haha i did resume but before i could get my brown belt i sorta had to stop due to exercises etc and then kinda lazy to go back? i feel sensei's too money-minded in a way and that kinda turns me off from aikido. not sure if i should go back and get the brown though.. expensive lol
  


• Learn a bit of boxing; wanna pick up the footwork - fucking totally forgot about this balls
  


• Save 1k - fail.
  


• Pick up a chick from the internet - win ;)
  


• Go to Bangkok for a holiday - i think i would have gone if the boys had just scheduled it on sept.. but im glad they didnt due to my post-circumsizion haha. nvm there's always 2009!!
  


• Strive to do 8 chin-ups for IPPT - yep, the most i can do now is 10 so i'm gonna try maintain that if im serious about tryin to get gold hehe
  


• Go for a facial X_X - nv got the time and money so just put it off and woah behold.. and nah i dont think i'll go for a facial before the year ends either
  


• Pick up tennis - yea got that off the list pretty early this year around feb/march.. still haven't played a proper game with rajiv >:o

REFLECTIONS

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

much has happened this year i guess. when it was still 2007 and i was in the earlier phase of my NS, i would tell myself, man i hope 2008 would be a fast year and then when its over i can just look forward to ORD!

however, ORDing is gonna be a giant leap forward and that scares me. as shocking as it sounds, i think i'm gonna miss NS. i'm gonna miss taking MC, i'm gonna miss the off days, i'm gonna miss the free food and i'm gonna miss the people.. dammit, staff jeff is gonna early like 1st feb and i think after tmr, i'll only see him like 2-3 more times and then, thats it liao

also, as repetitive as it does sound, i learned about love. with melissa, it was like.. an orientation of a relationship. like a lecture. with jenna, i went through the practical balls

the year in speaking, as in not from a personal point of view, has been.... rather strained i guess. recession. the mumbai terror attacks. one of the few positive things would be the dude who threw his shoe at bush i guess haha. too early for anybody to say how obama's gonna do but i really hope he succeeds :)))

well, fuck that. happy new year motherfuckers and btw i dont intend to wake up on the first day of 09 thinkin "omfg i had too much to drink last night im nv gonna drink again" lol
